The Freedom Flotilla could have been used as a decoy meant to divert attention away from missile shipments to Hezbollah (the land flotilla making its way to Bekaa Valley - Mediterranean) via Syria, which had been getting increased attention from the international community in recent weeks. That must be the "port" he's talking about.

Two camps (Moderate and Radical) -- Iran and Syria were also losing control of the situation. The moderate players in the region - Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt were waiting as the US was setting the groundwork for both direct and/or indirect talks between the Israelis and Palestinian Authority. The US had come close to getting the two parties to the table again for peace negotiations. Iran, Syria, and their friends in Gaza didn't like it.

So, the Freedom Flotilla served 2 purposes: The first one was to divert attention away from the other flotilla and the "port' Bibi is talking about), and the second one was to put a halt to the peace process and thereby breaking the marginalization of Hamas.

It's amazing how biased and/or misinformed and ignorant Maliheh and Peertum are. Weapons and terrorists were on this ship. The blockade and boarding was perfectly legal. It was nothing more than a provocation.

All you have to do is look at the innovations, discoveries in medicine, computers, etc. that benefit all of humanity, while the only thing the Arabs bring to the world is terror.
